Creation is an unfinished feature film, and a project of stop motion animator Willis O'Brien.
It was about men encountering dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals on an island.
Why It Was Cancelled
It was scrapped by RKO studio head David O. Selznick on the grounds of expense, and recommended by studio producer Merian C. Cooper, who considered the script boring due to lack of action.
Twenty minutes of complete footage was made, though approximately only four minutes of it exists today. Regardless, Cooper was impressed by the visual effects and requested O'Brien to rewrite some of the dinosaur sequences and effects into King Kong (1933).
