'Superman: Flyby' was a cancelled DC Comics film planned for a 2003 release, the film is written by JJ Abrams.[1]
Plot
The story was intended to be much darker, and focus more on Clark Kent trying to hide his secret identity for Martha. Jon Kent would be adraid that their son would kill them.
Krypton would still exist in this version.
Why It Was Cancelled
- The cancellation reasons are unknown. The possible reason is due to the crew thinking that the film tone would be too dark.
Result
The film never made it doing the film early development.
